An overview of this role As the Internal Events Lead, you’ll design, produce, and deliver internal events that strengthen connection among GitLab team members, reinforce company objectives, and bring our mission and vision to life. Because our team is fully remote and distributed across the globe, you’ll create intentional, inclusive experiences that work across locations and time zones. You’ll sit within the People Communications and Engagement function and own GitLab’s most visible internal touchpoints, including company-wide assemblies, Company Kick-Off, async-first virtual gatherings, and occasional in-person summits. You’ll partner with the Executive Group, People Business Partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to create meaningful moments throughout the team member journey. What you’ll do • Design and lead GitLab’s internal events strategy, including company-wide assemblies, ask me anything (AMA) sessions, Company Kick-Off, virtual gatherings, and occasional in-person summits. • Own the full event lifecycle, from concept development and budgeting through logistics, production, delivery, and post-event analysis. • Build scalable, accessible, and inclusive event experiences for a globally distributed workforce across all time…
