About NEL Professional

We help businesses see their security posture the way an attacker would, and then actually fix what they find.

What we do

Most security tooling stops at telling you something is wrong. NEL Professional covers both halves: NEL VEIL shows you your external exposure, and our marketplace connects you with identity-verified professionals who can remediate it at a fixed price, with payment held in escrow until the work is done.

NEL VEIL: the scanner

VEIL runs a non-invasive assessment of your public attack surface and produces a Veil Posture Score from 0–100, with findings mapped to compliance frameworks and an executive report. A free scan runs 16 modules; verifying that you control the domain unlocks 5 more that send active probes, for 21 in total.

What it inspects

SSL/TLS · Security headers · Web fingerprint · Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) · DNS security · JavaScript supply chain · CORS policy · Cookie security · Exposed files · Subdomain takeover · Admin surface · Cloud misconfiguration · Tech stack · WHOIS · Domain reputation · Breach exposure. It also adds open ports, API security, subdomain exposure and inert proof-of-concept checks once ownership is verified.

Scanning is public-surface only and requires no installation. We publish an attributable User-Agent on every request so anyone we touch can identify and contact us.

How we think about honesty

A security product is only worth what its findings are worth. We report the real score for every domain we scan (including our own), and when a data source is unavailable we say so rather than quietly presenting a guess as a result.
