The business, briefly
NEL Professional operates two connected halves of the same problem. NEL VEIL, a free external attack-surface scanner, identifies a company’s public exposure and scores it 0–100. The marketplace then connects that company with identity-verified security professionals who fix the findings at a fixed price, with funds held in escrow until a re-scan confirms the work.
The scanner is the acquisition channel and the marketplace is the revenue engine: a free assessment produces a specific, prioritised list of problems, and each problem maps to purchasable remediation. Subscription tiers add continuous monitoring, compliance mapping and reporting on top.
Why this shape
Scanning tools are abundant and tell you what is broken. Remediation marketplaces exist and assume you already know. Owning both means the finding and the fix are the same product surface — and the fix is verifiable, because the same scanner re-tests it.
